LIGNANO
Lignano Sabbiadoro, giovane città del divertimento e della vacanza, funge da centro di gravità turistica per la regione Friuli Venezia Giulia che,
protetta a Nord dalla cerchia delle Alpi e dall’Austria, a Sud dal Mare Adriatico e ad est dalla Slovenia, offre hai numerosi turisti paesaggi
suggestivi, relax e cultura. Dal mare ai monti, da Est a Ovest le distanze, in linea d'aria, non superano i cento chilometri e una moderna rete
autostradale le rende facilmente percorribili.

Lignano sorge su una penisola che si protende sul tranquillo mare adriatico, alle spalle dell'oasi
WWF della Laguna di Marano, dove da molti anni sventola la "Bandiera Blu d'Europa" , l'ambito riconoscimento ottenuto anche nel 2004, quale simbolo
di seria operatività nel tenere pulite le proprie spiagge, acque ed aree portuali. Caratteristica peculiare di Lignano, come si evince dal nome stesso,
sono gli otto chilometri di arenile formato da sabbia finissima che pare riflettere i colori caldi e dorati del sole.
La città dispone inoltre di una fra le più suggestive e capienti Arena Beach in Italia.

Lignano Sabbiadoro, eine junge Stadt des Vergnügens und des Urlaubs, fungiert als Schwerpunkt des Tourismus für die Region Friaul Venezia Giulia,
ein geschlossener Landstreifen im Norden der sich bis zu den Alpen zur Grenze Österreichs erstreckt.
Im Süden zeigt sich die Adria. Vom Meer bis zu den Bergen, von Osten nach Westen ist die Fluglinie nicht weiter als 100 km und
ein modernes Autobahnnetz macht die Verbindungen noch einfacher. Lignano erhebt sich auf einer Halbinsel die sich entlang der ruhigen Adria erstreckt,
dahinter liegt die Oase des WWF der Lagune von Marano, wo seit vielen Jahre die "Blaue Flagge Europas" weht, die ein Symbol ist für den Einsatz,
die eigenen Strände, das Wasser, die Luft und Umgebung der Häfen sauber zu halten. Charakteristisch für Lignano, wie man schon dem Namen entnehmen kann,
sind die 8 Kilometer Fläche feinsten Sandes, der die warmen Farben und das Gold der Sonnen reflektiert.
Die Stadt verfügt über eines der eindrucksvollsten und geräumigsten Strandstadions in Italien.
